Three jobs

Three jobs

One campaign

That is why your PPC stopped scaling

Discovery

Harvesting

Defense

Are three different missions

Cramming them into one campaign

is a chess player moving every piece

toward the same square

Crowded

Predictable

Easy to beat

The strategic reason to separate match types

has nothing to do with tidiness

It is signal purity

When discovery

Harvesting

Performance live in one campaign

Amazon blends the data

You lose the ability

to read cause and effect

Raise a bid and you cannot tell

which job you just helped or broke

You are optimizing blind

Separate the jobs and every number

starts telling the truth

Discovery spend is allowed

to be inefficient because

its job is intelligence

not profit

The performance campaign is allowed to be strict

because its job is margin

not exploration

Two different missions

two different definitions of success

This is where accounts quietly bleed money

Sellers judge a discovery campaign

by the same ACoS standard

as a bottom funnel one

Kill it early

And starve the whole system of the winning terms

that feed everything downstream

Negation is the connective tissue

Without it

The auto campaign and the exact match campaign

fight over the same term

You pay twice to bid against yourself

Structure is not the boring part of PPC

Structure is the strategy

Everything else is execution on top of it

Accounts spending six figures a month

do not have better keywords

They have cleaner architecture

that lets them act on data

others cannot see yet

Build the system once

It compounds every week

Fix the structure

or keep lighting money on fire

There is no third option
