🚨 Amazon sellers can no longer reach out to customers who leave critical reviews.

This change is now live in Seller Central.

→ What does this mean for brands?

• You can no longer initiate contact with customers based on a critical review.

• You can still respond if the customer contacts you first through Amazon Messages.

• Your best defense is prevention: better products, better listings, and better customer experience.

This is another signal that Amazon is tightening control over buyer-seller interactions while placing even greater importance on product quality and operational excellence.

→ For brands, the focus should shift toward:

âś“ Identifying recurring issues through review analysis.

âś“ Addressing root causes before they generate negative feedback.

âś“ Building stronger products and customer experiences that reduce the need for reactive support.

The ability to "recover" a bad review is becoming more limited. Preventing one is becoming more valuable than ever.

How do you think it will impact sellers' review management strategies?
