Four pilots

Four pilots

One light

A plane in the Everglades

They were so locked on a single warning bulb

they never noticed the altitude bleeding out

Four trained people

One number

The ground came up fast

That same crash happens

Inside Amazon ad accounts

Every single day

ACoS spikes

Panic hits

Spend gets slashed

Sales dip

Budget doubles overnight

One gauge moves and the controls get yanked

PPC metrics talk to each other

They are not separate dashboards

They are one cockpit

ACoS tells you if the ad itself is profitable

TACoS tells you if your ad spend is feeding organic rank

Those two numbers fight constantly

A higher ACoS can be fine

if your TACoS is dropping

That means ads are pulling organic sales up

and the platform is selling for you for free

Pull spend off too fast and you knock down

The organic ranking you paid to build

Now you lost the ad sales AND the organic sales

That is how a panic edit becomes a two week slump

TACoS and market share are cousins

Profit is the child of ACoS and TACoS together

Optimize for one and you starve the other two

Read the stack before you touch budget

Sales flat

TACOS climbing

Rank dropping means

Stop and diagnose

Not spend more

ACoS up

Profit tight

CPC rising means hold and tighten

Not slash

Sales up

Rank up

TACOS steady means press the gas

Winners read the whole cockpit

One metric is a single warning light

The accounts that grow are the ones

that stop reacting to one number
