The thing slowing down your hiring is not a shortage of good candidates. It is dead time, and I can prove it.
For a year I rebuilt how we hire for one role. The biggest unlock was killing a single bottleneck: our skills round used to be a 45-minute live call run by one person. That caps at 5 or 6 a day, and when someone is cut at minute 40, those 40 minutes are gone forever.
So we rebuilt it into a recorded, cheat-proof assessment a candidate can take the second they qualify. Any number, any hour, no calendar. A month-long search collapsed into days.
