Most brands take 30 to 60 days to hire a senior Amazon ads manager. We do it in 7 to 14, and we did not lower the bar to get there.
For a year we did one deliberately narrow thing: hired for this single role, every day, nothing else. Doing the same job thousands of times showed us where the time actually leaks, and it is almost never the part you would guess.
The short version:
- 30 to 60 days, to 7 to 14
- 6 weeks of your time, to about 3 hours
- One interviewer doing 5 calls a day, to round-the-clock screening
- A gut call, to one bar nobody skips, 87% still in seat at 90 days
