If you're using video in your Premium A+ Content, read this. It might be the easiest win you get all quarter.

Here's what almost everyone gets wrong:

You upload your video. Amazon throws a default frame on it as the thumbnail. You move on.

That thumbnail is prime real estate on your listing, and you just let it sit there as a blurry, random freeze-frame.

You can design it.

Look at the example below from a brand we work with. The video thumbnail isn't a thumbnail. It's a banner.

Headline, product benefits, vegan and cruelty-free badges, a clear play button. It's selling before anyone presses play.

Here's why this matters so much:

Most shoppers won't click your video. That's just reality.

But if your thumbnail is a designed, information-rich banner, you win either way:

→ They click? Great, they watch your video.

→ They don't click? They still absorbed your headline, your benefits, and your brand, from a module that looks intentional instead of accidental.

You're getting the value of a full A+ module AND a video, in the same slot.

One asset. Double the work.

Stop letting Amazon's default frame represent your brand. Design the thumbnail like it's the most important banner on your page, because for a lot of shoppers, it's the only one they'll really look at.

Small detail. Big difference.

What's the most overlooked piece of real estate on your Amazon listing? I'd argue it's this one. Curious what you'd say.
