A few things noticed over the 2nd part of #Amazon Prime Day 1:
The Prime Day Deal alerts have continued to evolve, and they are now also mentioning which products that I have previously purchased or asked to track are NOT on deal....yet. (see below)
The PD Deal alerts have really only focused on Brand Names and not any Amazon Private Label (excl Alexa and Ring products).
The PD Deal alert I set up for Top 10 Protein Powders on deal was well done with all 10 on deal and ranked with rationale. CPG Brands should be doing this for their categories to assess their competition.
The No Rush delivery incentive has moved from 7% to 8%, but July 1st is still the date (same as start of the day).
A suggested Alexa for Shopping prompt was "Alert me to new deals each Prime Day morning" so will see if that overlaps with existing PD Deal alerts or unique ones.
I asked #Alexa what the most popular deals today so far with consumers- try this one out and see what you think.
Cart limiters have been absent in most categories so wondering if by design and WITH Brand's approval or not?
The PD Deal alerts have been robust and complete in both email and app notification format as the day went on.
