I grew up watching Oprah, so getting to meet and talk to her last night at the Amazon Leadership event was a bucket list item. I’m looking forward to listening to her podcast and shopping “her favorite things” that she’s bringing to the Amazon network this year (great content for Amazon!!) I asked Oprah who would be top of her list to interview and she immediately said - it’s not the famous people, it’s more everyday people with incredible or compelling stories. At this point in her life she says she’s doing what she wants to do (not what she has to do) and sounds like famous people publicists are not fun to work with! Such a highlight to kick off this incredible Cannes week! She’s as impressive as you would think she would be.
