Most Amazon accounts find that 70–80% of their search-term spend goes entirely to zero-order terms. Yours might, too.

Look at the SP search-term breakdown here. At a glance, the account-wide metrics look solid: $144,099 in sales at a 29.09% ACoS and a 3.44x ROAS.

But when you drill into the Sponsored Products search-term report and bucket the data by order count, a very different reality appears.

Out of $41,922 in total spend, a staggering $34,308 was spent on terms that generated zero sales. That is an 81.84% no-sales spend share spread across 20,271 bleeding search terms.

Here is how you fix bleeding campaigns:

We call these "bleeders" - campaigns with real spend and zero return. They are the fastest, safest place to recover wasted budget. A proper audit flags every single one of them, showing you the exact spend amount leaking from your account, alongside portfolio gaps that hide rollup performance.

From there, I use a conservative recovery model:

• Identify the exact spend that produced zero sales.

• Apply suggested actions (pause, bid-cut, or rework) to recover at least half of it.

• Redeploy that exact spend this month at a healthier ACOS.

Send me your Sponsored Products Search Term report and I'll show you exactly where your budget is leaking, what opportunities you're missing, and how much revenue you can recover in the next 60 minutes.
