launching the PLM community is one of the best things I've ever done for my business, and I really don't say that lightly 👀

for years PLM was just me talking to an audience, and then we opened up the Insiders Club and it became hundreds of people talking to each other, and *everything* changed

the impact is so tangible, members renewing year on year, showing up every single day, telling me it's the reason they stuck with marketing when they were ready to quit (eee), and you can feel it in a way a follower count never gives you.

it's the most rewarding thing I've ever built.

but the part no one warned me about is that community is really, really hard.

building it is the easy bit because you can spin up a space in an afternoon, but keeping it alive is an entire job, and that part never switches off: I'm in there every day because the second a community goes quiet it starts to die, and most of them do go quiet within a few months, because one person cannot carry all of that on their own, the welcomes and the prompts and the answering and the showing up even when you've got nothing left, it lives with you constantly.

so when I got an early look at what Circle has been building with Circle AI, I was so excited, because it's the first thing I've seen that takes that weight off community builders without the space losing its soul !!! it knows your members and your content and your voice, and it keeps things moving even on the days you can't be in there.

if you're building any kind of community, or you've been meaning to, it's so worth a look: https://lnkd.in/eZxD9Jkn
