🚨Most Amazon sellers think Prime Day is about discounts.
It's really about preparation.
The biggest Prime Day mistakes happen long before the event starts.
Every year I see sellers pay for expensive Prime Day deals without having the inventory to support them.
Others discount so aggressively that even when sales increase, profits disappear.
That's not growth.
That's bad planning.
The sellers who consistently win Prime Day focus on three things:
• Inventory forecasting
• Pricing strategy
• Advertising expansion
If you're not evaluating these 30, 60, and 90 days before the event, you're putting yourself at risk.
One of the most overlooked strategies is pricing.
Many sellers leave their price too low before Prime Day and end up being forced into discounts that destroy margin.
The goal should never be maximizing revenue at all costs.
The goal should be growing market share, protecting profitability, and improving long-term ranking.
Prime Day rewards preparation.
It punishes reaction.
