You can take the girl out of the garden, but you can't take the garden out of the girl. 💚
I've been trying to figure out how to sum up ten years at Garden of Life, but not sure I can do it justice.
How do you capture a decade of growth, friendships, challenges, lessons, and memories in a single post?
When I joined Garden, Gracie was still little. She grew up coming to Kids Day, running around the office and believing I just had fun all day for a living.
Somewhere along the way she became a teenager and I grew up a bit too.
Of course there was the work.
The launches. The campaigns. The late nights. The incredible growth of the brand. The moments that stretched me far beyond what I thought I was capable of.
Garden gave me opportunities to grow in ways I never expected, from leading larger initiatives to representing the brand on industry stages and learning what leadership truly looks like.
But when I look back on the last ten years, what stands out most isn't a specific win.
It's the people.
The friendships that started as coworkers and became part of my life.
The mentors who challenged me to think bigger.
The community building 5k events.
The hobby horse races during the Kentucky Derby.
The fitness challenges. Go Shredders!!
The EPIC Kids Days.
The intense ping pong games.
The ball fights at Sales Conferences.
The work trips.
The random conversations in hallways that turned into lasting friendships.
When I joined Garden, I thought I was joining a company.
Looking back, I was joining a community that would help shape the next decade of my life.
I learned a lot and I made mistakes, but I also I found my voice. I was trusted with opportunities I never saw coming.
And somewhere along the way, we built something beautiful together.
As excited as I am to begin my next chapter with Carnation Breakfast Essentials,
I'll always be grateful for this one and the incredible people who were part of it.
And if we shared a little piece of this journey together, I'd love to hear your favorite Garden memory in the comments. 💚
