Your brand logo is now a trust signal on Amazon.
Amazon is testing brand logos above the product title on select product detail pages, this placement replaces a small "Visit the Store" text link that most buyers ignored entirely.
But even though it looks better, the functional layer here is different: the logo at the top of a PDP, visible before the buyer reads the title or price, trains the shopper to ask a question they were never asking before: is this the original or a dupe?
When a buyer recognizes a brand logo and taps it, they can verify whether the current seller is authorized or not.
For brands that have signed retail or wholesale agreements, this changes the cost of gray-market activity because an unauthorized reseller sitting on a brand's ASIN becomes immediately apparent, and the logo becomes a reference point the buyer can act on.
Amazon benefits because it strengthens the value of Brand Registry and reinforces the platform as a place where brand integrity can be maintained, while brands benefit because their authorized channel partners get a visible advantage at the moment of purchase.
At the end of the day, the sellers who will extract value from this update are the ones who have their catalog and brand infrastructure in order before it becomes standard.
♻️ Repost this if you manage brand distribution on Amazon. This one matters for your authorized partners.
