A brand doing $90,000 a month on Amazon, almost all of it organic on about $2,000 of ad spend, wanted to really scale the brand. They'd never really sold on Amazon or focused on selling direct. The business was built on wholesale, including selling to Walmart as a 1P vendor.
Her first question was about the guarantee.
It's a fair thing to ask. In that world you forecast the year and the numbers mostly hold.
So she wanted the same certainty here: what real spend actually buys, how fast, how much, what month one looks like. "If I spend $10k, will I see results in the first month?"
We don't make guarantees, and anyone who hands her that number is guessing.
Increasing sales is easy. The real question is always at what cost.
Supplement keywords run $2 to $7 a click, so you rarely make the money back on the first order. You make it back on repeat purchases, organic rank, and lifetime value.
Thirty days in, none of that has happened yet, so month one can't tell anyone whether it's working.
A guaranteed first-month number would just be bait to close the deal. That spend doesn't even go to the agency. It goes to Amazon.
Her reply: "I'm willing to give it a shot."
