Another Prime Day is upon us, and we're gathering together local brand owners here in Boston, Wednesday night June 10, to dissect last minute prep along with any listing attacks or unsubstantiated takedowns you need help on.
I know not everyone can meet us in-person this week to discuss, but the listing and account threats are real:
Know before you go! (Into Prime Day).
We're hanging out with @Andrew Smith @Swapt and local brand owners/ meetup members at Cisco Brewers Seaport from 5:30 to 8:30 PM.

There will be beer, cocktails, and a cool group of food trucks to enjoy. All within a stone’s throw.
What types of problems are we seeing/ tackling/ resolving lately?
A lot of category-related abuse, where a seller (likely a competitor) reports you to Amazon for selling in the wrong category.
“We have received a report that your listings below are in the incorrect category" then Amazon adds the ASIN they have flagged.
It doesn't look like Amazon understands the nature of these attacks, and we see blind enforcement, forcing the seller to appeal or escalate it.
We can walk you through it.
There's also the usual ‘Adult product’ Backend Attribute Abuse where someone is misusing access to backend keywords or over-writing your flat file contributions on a particular ASIN, in order to get it flagged as an adult product.
We've seen those hit products like tuppeware, office supplies, supplements and more.
Clearly, it's a bot triggered once an illicit ASIN contribution is added, from the Vendor side, or elsewhere.
Come talk to me about it, I have a lot to say! If not Wednesday, in-person, shoot me a DM to go over it, instead.
It’s been a nice warm and sunny summer so far, so we're doing this meetup outside to capitalize on it.
And, for me to share some recent consulting experiences handling listing takedowns, Amazon bot errors, and common appeals blunders that we still see sellers making.
Whether you have a lowering account health rating, a top ASIN that is at risk of disappearing overnight or a competitor attack you and costing you sales, we’ll be there to talk through it.
