Most teams speak Amazon.

I translate inventory.

The C-suite hears cash.

Because inventory in Seller Central

is rarely “just inventory.”

It is working capital.

It is margin.

It is growth.

It is risk.

Here is the translation:

Days of Inventory

“How many days until revenue

hits a wall?”

Run out…

and rankings disappear.

Sell Through Rate

“Are products moving…

or collecting rent?”

Amazon rewards movement.

Restock Limit

Amazon saying…

“Not so fast.”

Demand means nothing

if there is nowhere to send it.

In Stock Rate

“Were we open for business…

or closed when customers showed up?”

Miss enough…

customers move on.

Stranded Inventory

“You paid for it.

Amazon cannot sell it.”

Storage fees love this.

Reserved Inventory

“Your inventory exists…

but nobody can touch it.”

The accounting team hates surprises.

Inbound Receiving

“Did Amazon actually check it in…

or is it floating in the system?”

Shipped does not mean sellable.

Aged Inventory

“Yesterday’s forecast…

becomes today’s storage fee.”

Time gets expensive.

FBA Capacity

“How much growth

is Amazon willing to hold?”

Space is strategy.

Units on Hand

“The truth.”

Not what was ordered.

Not what was shipped.

What can sell today.

I do not just manage inventory.

I translate inventory into cash flow decisions.

You play. I operate.
