Your ads aren't broken. Your product is. One of the clearest patterns in Amazon

Your ads aren't broken. Your product is.

One of the clearest patterns in Amazon right now: brands using ad spend to defend a declining organic position instead of fixing what's actually broken.

CTR below 1%? That's a main image problem. Conversion under 10%? Listing problem. TACoS above 15%? Weak organic rank. These aren't ad problems. They're product and content problems that ads can't solve.

An agency won't tell you this. They're billing hours to run campaigns, not to audit your conversion funnel and challenge your pricing strategy.

Craig at Spire put it well: "In a lot of ways, we want him to tell us what we should do versus us tell him."

That's what a senior operator embedded in your business actually looks like. Someone who sees across price, listings, content, and ads simultaneously — and tells you where to fix before you scale.

Agencies optimise within the brief. An in-house manager expands it.

If your Amazon performance is stalling and you're wondering whether more spend is the answer, it probably isn't. The answer is usually better diagnosis.
