The mistake most Amazon sellers make with reviews:

Treating every product the same.

Review requirements are completely different depending on how risky the purchase feels.

Think about it this way.

If shoppers already understand the product and trust what they see, they need very little convincing.

But if the product affects:

• health

• appearance

• safety

• durability

• performance

…the trust threshold goes way up.

And trust directly affects conversion rate.

This is why two listings with identical traffic can perform completely differently.

One feels “safe” to buy.

The other doesn’t.

That’s also why launch ACoS should never be analyzed in isolation.

Sometimes higher ad spend early is what creates enough order volume to generate reviews fast enough to break through.

Because reviews are not instant.

They’re a byproduct of velocity.

And velocity changes everything:

• conversion rate

• organic rank

• CPC efficiency

• total account momentum

A lot of brands think they have an advertising problem.

What they really have is a trust deficit.
