There's one thing I wish more Amazon sellers understood. Campaign history matter

There's one thing I wish more Amazon sellers understood.

Campaign history matters.

A lot.

I've seen targets running strategies that make zero sense on paper.

But they're working.

Conversion rates through the roof.

Orders coming in steady.

Pause them to "clean up" and try to bring them back?

They don't recover.

That history is gone.

This is why the first two weeks with any new account isn't about launching anything.

It's about triage.

What's working? → Protect it.

What's wasting spend? → Cut it.

What's missing? → Build it.

We recently inherited an account sitting at 25% TACoS.

Ran a cleanup.

No campaign wipes.

No "learning phases."

Got to 11% TACoS in two weeks.

Spend dropped 35-40%.

Sales barely moved (less than 5% drop).

The structure was messy. But it had good bones.

You just have to know what to look for.
