You might be seeing this “Researched by Alexa” section on the TOS when you search for something on Amazon. It pulls information from different sources to gather details about the category, helping customers make purchase decisions faster. For example, when I searched for “storage shed,” the research highlighted that metal sheds offer long-term durability while resin sheds are lightweight. With this information, a shopper can quickly decide what they want, click on “Metal,” and the search instantly shifts to “metal storage shed,” making the buying journey much faster.
Think about your keyword strategy now. Generic keywords like “storage shed” are becoming less useful because Amazon is actively pushing users toward more refined, product-specific searches like “metal storage shed” or “resin storage shed.” That is how frontend app updates are directly changing backend targeting logic.
You now need to continuously monitor frontend discovery updates as closely as you monitor bids, keywords, and budgets. Amazon Ads strategies are evolving rapidly, and understanding how Amazon reshapes customer discovery journeys is becoming just as important as campaign optimization itself.
