Jana Krekic launched a very, very cool tool.
SellerLingo from YLT Translations.
Brands expanding internationally typically treat translation like a copy-paste job.
Drop the listing into ChatGPT.
Get German output.
Ship it.
I ran that exact test this week against SellerLingo.
Translated a Garden of Life listing into German with both, then had Perplexity (Sonnet) compare them through the lens of a native German speaker.
First read: ChatGPT looked stronger.
More natural phrasing.
Used "Probiotika," the recognized term.
Sounded native.
Then I asked Perplexity to re-evaluate against Amazon DE policy and EU/German compliance.
The verdict flipped completely.
→ ChatGPT preserved the FDA disclaimer.
The FDA has zero jurisdiction in Germany. Straight violation.
→ "Probiotika" is restricted by EFSA.
Amazon DE has been cracking down on it. SellerLingo's pivot to "Aktive Kulturen" wasn't a translation miss, it was a deliberate compliance workaround.
The output that "read better" in isolation would have gotten the listing suppressed.
That's the whole point of localization.
It's not which version sounds prettier.
It's which one keeps you compliant and live on the platform.
SellerLingo is doing things ChatGPT isn't equipped to do.
