I think creators have one of the biggest advantages in ecommerce right now.
Not because they’re celebrities.
Because they already control attention and trust.
Most traditional brands spend enormous amounts of money trying to acquire:
• audience attention
• customer trust
• repeat engagement
• brand familiarity
Creators already have those things built into the relationship with their audience.
That changes the economics of ecommerce dramatically.
When creators understand:
• product positioning
• branding
• conversion
• audience psychology
• fulfillment systems
…they can scale brands very quickly.
We’re entering a period where audience ownership is becoming one of the strongest business moats available.
Because customer acquisition keeps getting more expensive.
Trust keeps getting harder to build.
And creators already have direct communication with the customer.
The challenge now is operational execution.
The creators who learn systems, logistics, and profitability will likely outperform a lot of traditional ecommerce brands over the next decade.
That’s a huge part of what we analyze with DataDive: https://lnkd.in/e2h4mCJ2
Do you think audience ownership is becoming more valuable than traditional advertising?
