One of the reasons Amazon became such a dominant business model is simple:

Scalability.

A seller can develop one product…

and immediately gain access to nationwide distribution infrastructure.

That changes everything.

Most traditional businesses struggle because scaling distribution is expensive, operationally difficult, and slow.

Amazon dramatically reduced those barriers.

But I think a lot of sellers misunderstand where the real long-term advantage comes from.

It’s not just:

“find product → run ads → scale.”

The strongest brands usually build:

• operational systems

• customer trust

• strong positioning

• repeatable acquisition

• scalable logistics

• branding that survives competition

Because eventually products get copied.

Execution usually becomes the real moat.

That’s why understanding market demand, conversion behavior, profitability, and customer psychology matters so much on Amazon.

The sellers who understand systems generally scale much more predictably than the sellers chasing trends.

That’s a huge part of what we focus on with DataDive: https://lnkd.in/e2h4mCJ2

Do you think Amazon’s biggest advantage is traffic…

or infrastructure?
