The upload went through

The ACOS went up

The bid never actually changed

That is the trap

And it catches sellers every single time

The Operation column is blank

The upload runs

Nothing happens

Amazon processed the file

and ignored every edit

because there was no command

telling it what to do

No error

No alert

Just ACOS climbing while the problem is assumed solved

Amazon does not assume

It executes commands or it does nothing

Update means change the bid

Pause means stop spending on that keyword

Negate means never match that search term again

No command in that column means no action

Most bulk sheet mistakes are not strategy mistakes

They are execution mistakes

The thinking was right

The file just never told Amazon what to do with it

Every single row you touch needs an Operation

Not some rows

Every row

Pull the data

Filter for what is bleeding spend

Without producing orders

Decide whether to pause it or cut the bid

Set the Operation column

upload

Verify inside Seller Central that the changes actually landed

Brands that use bulk sheets correctly grow market share

Brands that skip the Operation column just think they do

Do not confuse uploading a file with optimizing a campaign

They are not the same thing
