Most Amazon sellers think Prime Day preparation starts a few days before the eve

Most Amazon sellers think Prime Day preparation starts a few days before the event.

That’s usually a mistake.

Prime Day planning often starts 30, 60, even 90 days beforehand.

Because there are several things sellers need to get right:

Inventory forecasting

Pricing strategy

Keyword targeting

Campaign scaling

Profitability planning

One of the biggest mistakes I see is sellers lowering prices too early.

Then when Prime Day arrives, Amazon requires even deeper discounts for badges and deal participation.

Now margins disappear.

The goal should not be maximizing revenue for Amazon.

The goal should be growing your brand profitably.

That means understanding:

• expected sales lift

• competitor performance trends

• conversion-driving keywords

• campaign expansion strategy

• inventory requirements

This is where most sellers either gain market share…

or create operational problems.

At Seller Systems Academy, this is exactly what we help sellers prepare for.
