Your Prime Day window is closing faster than you think.
Amazon just confirmed Prime Day 2026 is in June, so we don't have as much time as many expected.
Right now, we are on May 8th, and the inventory deadline is May 27 for FBA with minimal shipment splits. That is 19 days from today.
The deal submission window closes May 26, so if you have not submitted a Best Deal or Lightning Deal, you are already behind the $50 early submission discount that expired April 30.
To give you an image of where we are now in relation to Prime Day, Amazon's fulfillment network is pre-positioning inventory ahead of the event, so shipments arriving after May 27 (or June 5 for Amazon-optimized splits) may clear receiving, but will not be guaranteed Prime badge eligibility. The badge is tied to processing status, not just physical arrival.
Note: A unit sitting in a receiving queue on June 10 is not Prime-eligible, it is a unit competing for dock space during one of the highest-traffic inbound periods of the year.
The AWD (Amazon Warehousing and Distribution) pathway has the same May 27 cutoff, if you are using AWD for bulk storage and auto-replenishment to FBA, your window is identical, and your lead time from factory to AWD to FBA is longer.
So audit your shipment plan today, confirm tracking IDs are accurate, delivery windows are set, and box content information is complete, because incomplete shipments get deprioritized in receiving.
The sellers who perform well on Prime Day are the ones whose inventory was processed and Prime-ready before the event started.
If this gave you an idea on a deadline you almost missed, share it with your team.
