Most sellers think they need a completely new product to win on Amazon.

That’s usually not true.

In most cases, the opportunity is already there.

It just hasn’t been fully optimized.

Take this example.

Strong fundamentals:

Wood material

Clear educational intent

Appeals to parents looking for STEM and development

Good positioning for toddlers and early learning

But it’s not perfect.

It’s bulky.

Packaging could be more efficient.

Design could be refined.

I’d rate it a 7 out of 10.

That gap is where the opportunity is.

Winning on Amazon often comes down to improving what already works.

Then aligning it with real demand.

Which means understanding:

What keywords are driving traffic

What specific age groups are searching

What features matter most to buyers

You don’t need to reinvent the category.

You need to execute better within it.
