🔥My fellow co-host of Unpacking the Digital Shelf Peter Crosby kicked off Day 1 of DSS! He opened up with one of my favorite lines, thank you for being a part of the community. It is so great to see so many leaders in this industry all in one place.
We kicked off the day with Piyush Chaudhari, Rob Gonzalez and a fantastic panel of retailers and brands Jacqui Nie, Yana Kaszubska, Gregory Carlson and Molly Schonthal.
Some of my favorite quotes and takeaways from the start of DSS:
⭐️ Data accuracy is non-negotiable. The data feeds the context layer and makes the AI layer possible.
⭐️ AI can help with many things but it does not take away thinking. We still need to think and get our hands dirty in order to learn and retain information.
⭐️ "The world changes slowly. The world moves at human pace. The world doesn't move at AI pace. We have plenty of time to adapt and in that time we all have plenty of opportunity." Rob Gonzalez
⭐️ “People remain more important than technology, be good to each other.” Gregory Carlson
⭐️ “Not every insight deserves a roadmap and pick the things that will move the needle.” Yana Kaszubska
Looking forward to two more days of learning, chatting and seeing some of my favorite people ❤️
