💢 Most brands are losing the sale before the shopper ever hits add to cart.
And they have no idea.
Altira is a liquid dog gravy with a full multivitamin stack inside. Premium priced. First to market in their category. Launched in February with zero brand recognition.
That combination is hard to sell on Amazon. The shopper doesn't know them. The price is higher than what they're used to. And a liquid gravy topper that's also a multivitamin, that's not something most pet parents have seen before.
When a shopper doesn't understand the value, they don't ask questions. They just leave.
So every section of this storefront had one job: close the gap between "what is this" and "I need this for my dog."
Shop by pet at the top so the right person self-selects immediately. Ingredient callouts in plain English so "marine microalgae oil" doesn't send them to a Google tab they never come back from. Size guide mapped by dog weight so nothing is left to a guess that becomes a return. Lifestyle imagery that looks like their dog — not a stock dog, their dog. Brand story woven through so by the time they reach the product, trust is already built.
Here's what most brands get wrong about storefronts. They treat it like a catalog. Products, prices, maybe some nice photography. Done.
But a shopper who lands on your storefront is already interested. They came from somewhere. They clicked. They're considering you.
That is the highest-intent moment you will get outside of the product page itself. And most brands waste it with a grid of product shots and no connective tissue holding any of it together.
The storefront doesn't just display your products. It answers every silent objection a shopper walks in with.
For Altira, the biggest objection was price. The answer wasn't a discount. It was making the value undeniable before the shopper thought to question it.
That's what a storefront built right actually does.
Save this the next time someone tells you the storefront doesn't move the needle.
