Most Amazon sellers focus on the wrong problem.

They think ads or listing optimization will fix performance.

In reality, the biggest mistake happens much earlier.

Product selection.

If the product is wrong, everything else becomes harder.

Wrong product can mean:

Not enough demand

Too much competition

Limited keyword opportunity

Insufficient capital to compete

Once that decision is off, you’re trying to fix a broken foundation.

On top of that, many new sellers underestimate how complex Amazon actually is.

It’s not just launching a product.

You need to understand:

Supply chain and logistics

Content that drives clicks and conversion

Advertising efficiency

If one of these is weak, performance suffers.

That’s when sellers start overpaying for ads to compensate.

The better approach is to reduce risk upfront.

Make the right decision before you launch.
