What doesn’t impress me:

Traders who brag about timing the market, chasing hype, and flipping stocks based on daily headlines.

What impresses me: Investors who buy fundamentally strong businesses and just let compound growth do its job for decades.

Look at the Amazon chart above. It is the ultimate reality check for anyone obsessed with short-term price action.

The black line (Price) is crowd psychology. It’s erratic, it panics, and it crashes (just look at the massive dip in 2022). But look at the orange line and green zone (Earnings). It is a relentless, cash-generating machine.

In the short term, the stock market is a popularity contest. But over a 10 or 20-year horizon, the price 𝑎𝑙𝑤𝑎𝑦𝑠 converges with actual earnings. Every single time.

You don’t need a crystal ball or a complex algorithm to build real wealth. You just need the discipline to let the fundamentals do the heavy lifting while everyone else is panicking over the noise.

Which line are you paying attention to the black one or the orange one?

Let me know in the comments.
