Your vendor scorecard is measuring the wrong things. Fill rate. On-time delivery

Your vendor scorecard is measuring the wrong things.
Fill rate.
On-time delivery.
Chargeback rate.
Confirm rate.
These are operational hygiene metrics.
Hitting them doesn't make your account profitable.
It just means Amazon won't penalise you.
The metrics that actually predict vendor performance are different:
ASIN level Net PPM trends — are your products becoming more or less profitable for Amazon over time?
Promotional incrementality — is your funded spend driving new sales or propping up existing ones?
Conversion rate by ASIN — where is traffic landing but not buying, and why?
Sell out velocity — are you building inventory problems that will force margin impacting promotions?
Return rate by ASIN — which products are quietly destroying your profitability by coming back?
These metrics tell you and Amazon if you're building something sustainable.
The scorecard will tell you if you're compliant.
Which of these does your team review every month?
