An HVAC parts founder told me last month:

"Five agencies passed on us. We weren't sexy enough."

They sell capacitors.

Blower motors.

Fan blades.

Not exactly Amazon case-study material.

Every pitch they got back said a version of the same thing:

"Our team isn't HVAC specialists."

"We focus on consumer brands."

"Your catalog is too technical."

AKA:

"We want easy categories & low SKU counts."

Industrial categories on Amazon have:

A fraction of the creative competition consumer has

Buyers who arrive knowing exactly what they need

Less algorithm volatility because intent is rational, not impulse

The "boring" categories are where the margin lives.

Too many agencies want the next supplement brand because supplements look good on a deck.

Industrial.

Fasteners.

Building materials.

If your category puts agency AEs to sleep, you're probably in the right place to scale.

What's the most unsexy Amazon category you've ever profitably grown?
