Most people assume successful Amazon businesses start with the right strategy.
That’s rarely the case.
Before we understood Amazon FBA, we were trying completely different models.
We bought storage units, thinking we could flip inventory and figure things out as we went.
It was inconsistent, hard to scale, and not aligned with how Amazon actually works.
At the time, we didn’t know that.
We were just testing.
That phase is something most people go through.
You try different approaches, most of them don’t work, and eventually you find
a model that does.
For us, that shift was moving into Amazon FBA.
What stood out was the scalability.
Instead of random inventory, you build a repeatable system.
Instead of guessing, you use data to make decisions.
That’s when things started to compound.
