But importantnewsright now
Last week I got a year older
But none the wiser!
I remember when I was 22, thinking...
"Gosh when I will be 35 I will be so oldddd
And so ADULT"
Well... I am neither
Definitely seeing few more smiley wrinkles
Definitely have a few more bills and boring stuff to deal
But still feel like a big kid
Still snort when i laugh really hard
Still like cake for breakfast
Still have moments when i am like "I'm not grown up enough to deal with this Sh**"
The one big bonus of growing older tho is
That on the way you get to meet a lot of very special people
The people who would learn how to play Happy Bday on a guitar just for you
Who would go to Costa Rica just because you say "Hey will you come?"
Who would make you a digital card with your AI avatar
Who would drive 8 hours from South Carolina to Nashville just to see you for 15 minutes
Who will be there through thick and thin regardless of how cool/happy/sexy/successful you are or if you are just a sad potato.
So yes, growing old is not so bad
When you have those people
