Know your blueberries
Or you’ll lose them
MerchantSpring
Sales by Category tab
This is where revenue hides
You might be in multiple categories
But one of them pays the bills
That’s your core
Protect it
Watch the mix
Where is the real volume
Where is the real profit
Don’t get distracted by side categories growing fast
Growth is good
Losing your base is not
Yes, give the others some attention
They can turn into real channels
But not at the expense of your main lane
Ads follow this
Support the secondary categories
Test, learn, expand
But don’t drain spend from the core
Don’t lose rank
Don’t lose position
That’s hard to get back
This tab keeps you honest
Where is the money actually coming from
Double down there first
