Don't sign a 3, 6, or 12 month agency contract for Amazon.

You can often end up stuck with 3+ months where you've paid for a service you're no longer using. Plus

You don't need to. Another agency will be able to offer a similar service without doing this, such is the competitive nature of the industry right now.

You could also consider hiring in-house if you're generating over $2m/year on Amazon. Because it'll likely cost you less literal $ per month than the agency fee. And you won't have to pay a % at any point - unless you choose to.

You will also be getting 8 hours a day of input. Which, as we know with any task we do, higher input often leads to better output.

You can also enjoy not having a fixed term contract.

You might be wondering what this costs in 2026. We've put together a salary guide based on 900 recent job posts. Specifically focusing on Senior Amazon Advertising Managers.

You can see by country and whether it's remote or on-site.
