🏃♂️❤️I interrupt your regularly scheduled programming for a proud wife moment. My husband, JP Gilbert, ran the Boston Marathon today in 2hr 35m 😱
This is his 6th marathon and today he beat his fastest time by 19 minutes!!! What makes this one so special is not only his epic time but everything behind the scenes. All of the early and very cold mornings he ran coming home with his eyes frosted shut, his dedication to run 85+ miles a week, his focus on nutrition, and the consistency day in and day out. He put in so much hard work and time into preparing for this race and it truly paid off.
It has been incredible to witness his true dedication and him pushing himself beyond what he thought was possible.
Marathons are a test of endurance but also of mindset, resilience, and heart. And he embodies all of it.
So proud of everything he’s accomplished and even more proud of the person he is along the way. Dewey and I will always be cheering you on 🏃♂️❤️
