Most products don’t fail for the reason you think.
I’ve reviewed a lot of “failed” launches.
And the pattern is always the same.
The problem isn’t the product.
It’s what happened at the start.
Or more accurately… what didn’t.
Most sellers call it a launch.
But turning your listing on is not a launch.
It’s just going live and hoping something happens.
A real launch is structured.
It’s intentional.
It forces data, fast.
It looks like this:
→ 5–10 exact match keywords
Focused. Controlled. No guessing.
→ Budget allocated specifically for ranking
Not blended into general spend
→ Conversion tracked at the keyword level
From day one
→ Kill what doesn’t convert
Quickly
→ Scale what does
Even faster
→ Then expand
Most brands skip straight to scaling.
Without knowing what actually works.
So they end up scaling inefficiency.
And when it doesn’t work… they blame the product.
But the product was never the issue.
It just never had a real launch behind it.
Had a product that “didn’t work”?
Be honest..
What actually happened?
