Struggling with declining #Amazon PO volumes? Chances are your teams are prioritising sell-in over sell-out.
Declining PO volumes are the result of:
๐ High inventory levels (WOC โฅ4)
Accepting previous bulk buys
Weak traffic and conversion
Amazon losing the Buy Box
Profitability deficits leading to CRAP
If you're complaining about lower PO volumes, you're treating Amazon like it's 2016.
Not 2026.
The reality is:
Not your Vendor Manager.
โ Not AVS.
If your products don't move, POs will slow down.
It's as simple as that.
So prioritise what actually moves the needle:
โ Clean up your distribution
โ Offer temporary CSA on CRAP selection
โ Stop accepting bulk orders that inflate WOC
โ Run targeted promos on overstocked ASINs
โ Optimise content for conversion
Amazon is a marketplace. Not a retailer that generates volume for you.
Make sure you set up your expectations accordingly.
