Big Amazon Ad Payments Reversal (for now)! Look alive out there...

It looks like Amazon is rolling back the timeline on this month's credit card points killer move. That would have forced sellers to pay out of their current funds reserves, or by invoice, for their ads.

Translation? You get to keep your points (and your cash flow) for a little while longer.

In a moment of clarity from Seattle, an admission that dropping three hammers in a single month was a bridge too far, given that:

- The fuel surcharge (squeezing margins).

- The DD+7 payment delay (choking cash flow).

- The credit card switch (killing the one perk sellers had left).

Doing all of that within a few weeks constitutes a recipe for disaster.

It’s a positive sign that they realized it's rather hard to create a "Perfect Storm" of trouble for those fuel marketplace.

But, don't get TOO comfortable.

On its face, it is just kicking the can down the road till summer.

So, keep your eyes on your reserves. They’re listening, but they still haven't changed their ultimate destination.
