If you're still shipping into #Amazon DCs and FCs via your own carrier partners, there's a good chance your Vendor Manager has pushed #WePay as a top priority in your 2026 AVN.

The online retailer is on a mission to gain greater control over its supply chain with 1P vendors. WePay (aka Freight Collect) hands Amazon control of carrier selection, pickup scheduling, and inbound delivery into its FC network.

🇺🇸 Over 50% of US vendors are estimated to use WePay.

🇪🇺 In Europe, it's closer to 30%.

But should you even consider a switch?

There are genuine upsides:

✅ Fewer chargebacks for process non-compliance

✅ Fewer shortages

✅ Competitive rate card versus local carriers

✅ For EU vendors, WePay replaces (S)PICS

The downsides are less talked about:

🚩 No guarantee of a full pallet or full truck ordering

🚩 Chargebacks and shortages can still occur

🚩 Risk of late pickups during peak quarters.

🚩 The carrier selection becomes Amazon's choice
