A dash cam brand changed one image & doubled their sales in 72 hours.

Same product. Same price. Same PPC budget. Same listing copy.

They were selling 2-3 units a day. Three days after the new hero image went live, they were doing 5-6.

No other variable changed.

What did the new image do differently?

⤷ It clarified the product.

The original hero image was a product shot.

Clean. Professional.

But at thumbnail size on a phone, you couldn't immediately tell what the product did, what was included, or why it was different from the 30 other dash cams on the page.

The new image communicated the complete offering instantly.

This is the part that kills me.

This brand had been spending money on PPC for months trying to increase sales.

Testing different keywords.

Adjusting bids.

All of that effort was driving shoppers to a search results page where the hero image was failing to convert the impression into a click.

They were paying for eyeballs that scrolled right past them.

One image change. 72 hours.

⤷ Revenue doubled.

I share this story because sellers systematically undervalue creative.

→ "Let's test a new PPC strategy" - Yes.

→ "Let's renegotiate our supply chain" - Of course.

→ "Let's spend one afternoon strategically rethinking our hero image" - Never gets prioritized.

The hero image is the cheapest, fastest lever with the highest potential ROI on Amazon.

Not because images are magic.

Because everything else you're spending money on depends on the customer clicking first.

And the hero image decides whether they click on you or the product next to you.

What would doubling your daily units mean for your business?
