There are nearly 10k characters of searchable text on your Amazon listing.
Most sellers don't know they exist.
Brand Story.
Not the visible content.
The alt-text behind every image.
Amazon's Brand Story module lets you upload up to 96 individual images in the carousel.
Each image allows 100 characters of alt-text.
96 images x 100 characters = roughly 9,600 characters of backend text that Amazon indexes for search.
Nobody sees this text on the listing. But Amazon's algorithm reads it.
This is a massive, untapped SEO opportunity.
Here's how to use it:
→ Fill every alt-text field with relevant keywords you couldn't fit in your title, bullets, or backend search terms
→ Include Spanish-language versions of your main keywords (huge growing demographic on Amazon)
→ Add common misspellings and typos of your product name (shoppers misspell constantly)
→ Use long-tail variations you couldn't justify in your main copy
Most sellers upload 3-4 Brand Story images and leave the alt-text blank.
That's leaving thousands of characters of indexed real estate on the table.
The brands that dominate organic search aren't just optimizing the obvious fields.
They're filling every available input that Amazon's algorithm touches.
Your competitors are fighting over title keywords and backend search terms.
You could be quietly indexing for hundreds of additional terms through a feature most people don't even know exists.
