The "TACOS" Trap 🌮

I was recording a recent episode of the PPC Den and I had to get something off my chest.

We need to stop calling it "Total ACOS."

It’s a semantic error that is costing Amazon sellers thousands in missed opportunities.

The term "Total ACOS" suggests your Ad Cost is being totaled. But in reality, we are totaling your Sales. This isn't just a grammar lesson, it’s a strategy killer.

When you think "Total ACOS," you treat it like a PPC efficiency metric. You start trimming bids to save pennies while your organic rank the real engine of your business begins to starve.

From now on, I’m calling it 𝐀-𝐂-𝐎-𝐓-𝐒: Ad Cost of Total Sales.

True authority on Amazon comes from understanding that your PPC is a lever for your total business health, not just a line item to be minimized. If you only focus on "efficiency," you are just swinging a hammer blindly.

Expertise is knowing where to tap to make the whole engine roar.

Are you still obsessed with your ACOS, or have you graduated to looking at the total picture?

Let’s debate in the comments.
