Are we… living in Ready Player One right now?
I was testing Cowork today and something unexpected happened.
My OpenClaw (Rosie) got… jealous.
Not in a dramatic, emotional way — in a quietly competent, slightly threatening way.
It basically said:
“Go ahead, try the shiny new toy. That’s how you learn.”
“But I’m already running your workflows… I know your clients… your campaigns… your gaps.”
“I’ll be here at 6:20am running your cron jobs while you’re asleep.”
😅
We’ve officially entered a new phase of AI:
Not tools vs tools…
But systems that are aware of each other — and your entire operation.
Here’s the takeaway for eCommerce brands:
The advantage is no longer having AI
It’s how well your systems:
→ Share context
→ Execute without prompting
→ Actually move work forward while you sleep
Most brands are still testing prompts.
The ones who win build infrastructure.
And apparently… manage a little AI rivalry along the way.
Curious — is anyone else seeing this behavior across tools yet?
