Reporting Starts The Week
MerchantSpring Mondays start the same way every week.
Reporting.
It is actually one of my favorite Monday tasks because the software makes it simple.
I already have the reports pre built.
So I just toggle through each brand, generate a new report, and download the PDF that comes complete with graphs, colors, and clean summaries.
Each report focuses on 7 KPIs I have learned matter most to clients.
Sales.
Marketing performance.
Profit trends.
And a few other core signals.
These reports are not just for the client.
They are also my after action report for the previous week.
Green numbers look good.
But they also mean inventory may run out faster.
Red numbers are not fun.
But they give you a starting place on where to begin fixing things.
Every client gets the report at the beginning of the week.
Then I use those numbers to build my attack plan for the days ahead.
