Your agency just fixed an 8-hour Seller Support issue. Did you know it happened?

Probably not. That's the job. Catalog fires, parent ASIN breaks, account health flags — agencies absorb them silently and send you a monthly report that says "optimised bids across SP, SB, and SD campaigns."

The invisible work is real. I'm not dismissing it.

But here's the problem: when you can't see the work, you can't evaluate the thinking. You don't know if someone spent those 8 hours firefighting because they caught something early — or because they missed it for three weeks.

Brands don't leave agencies over $1,500 price differences. They leave because they stop seeing strategic thinking. Proactive ideas dry up. The account runs. Nothing breaks badly enough to cancel. But nothing grows either.

An in-house Amazon Ads manager — placed remotely, inside your team — changes that dynamic completely. You see the work. You're in the Slack thread. You know what's breaking and why. The strategy is yours, not theirs.

We've placed managers who surfaced catalog issues, rebuilt attribution models using AMC, and flagged margin problems before a single budget cycle closed. All things an agency would have handled quietly, if at all.

Question for brands running $500K+ on Amazon: what did your agency proactively bring you in the last 90 days that you didn't ask for first?

Drop a comment if you've seen this.
