But because it's probably not been priorised.
When you don't prioritise margin, it will always get traded away without a thought.
I've noticed that margin focused vendors do something stupidly simple:
They make margin a constraint, rather than a specific goal.
How...?
All growth must clear margin thresholds before it's signed off
Any activity must fit within pre agreed margin guardrails
Any exception must be visible/agreed and temporary...
