Amazon gave sellers a "challenge."
Amazon rolled out a feature called "Seller" Challenge under Account Health for AHA (Account Health Assurance) enrolled sellers in the US. The announcement positions it as an enhanced review path for listing enforcement that has not been resolved after multiple attempts.
Sellers are reading "separate review" and "48-hour response" and assuming this is a faster, more powerful escalation channel with better insight or a different team evaluating their case.
It is the same Account Health team.
The submission form is the same structure as a standard appeal.
You fill in the field, upload supporting documents, click submit. The response is the same as what you would receive through the regular path, including the same templated language with no additional explanation or context.
Seller Challenge does not introduce a new review layer. It does not route your case to a different team or apply a different evaluation standard. It is the same review process, with a guaranteed response window attached.
Access is limited. You receive three total uses. If a challenge is unsuccessful, that use is not permanently lost, but it takes six months to replenish.
If you lose AHA eligibility, any remaining challenges are frozen until you qualify again. Your listing remains deactivated during the review, just as it would under a standard appeal.
The only functional difference is a 48-hour response commitment. That matters for time-sensitive cases. Everything else, the outcome, the criteria, the team, remains unchanged.
So treat Seller Challenge as a timed appeal and reserve it for enforcements where a 48-hour decision window creates measurable operational value.
Do not use it expecting a different answer from a different reviewer.
If you are AHA-enrolled and managing catalog compliance at scale, the question is not whether to use Seller Challenge. It is whether the clock on those three uses is worth it for the specific enforcement in front of you.
